Toxic Workplace: A Reading Poem

It was something: To do with his workplace
Had worked there and was bullied endlessly;
Mostly psychological, and mind torture;
They saw he has different and were jealous
This particular one; bullied him too hard,
And a form of jealousy held by him,
Or this bully wanted it for himself
Jealous but at the same time saw the lack,
In your son Chad, part of himself hated.
Not unlike the other co-workers there:
Saw him as different, they were insecure,
Nor did they try to be a friend to him.
Shame really; project their own insecurities,
And did so to just be part of the pack.

Something very wrong: At that place of work
Had a depressing vibe with co-workers;
Especially this one, almost sadistic;
When he should take a long look at himself
Afraid to look; in the mirror at himself,
And see the powerless man he'd look at,
Or face his own large inadequacies
I also sense some physical torture,
Almost pure hate, and anger from this bully.
Not unlike possessing extreme dark rage:
His goal at the time, was to make Chad cry,
Because nor has he got to cry himself.
Sadistically crushing Chad's glasses; and laughed it off,
And used force to scare and hurt Chad that day.

It was this event: That set it all off
Had the supervisor come and fire;
The bully, infuriated at your son;
When he promised Chad 'This isn't over!'
Chad lived in fear; the last few months of his life,
And this guy has drove past your house sometimes,
Or turned into an unemployed stalker
Caught Chad one day blamed him for his demise,
And coerced him, on premise of make-up.
Not so it was or it turned out to be:
Lots of pain and rage, this man put on Chad,
Nor has a body been located yet.
Will be in time; by a senior couple on stroll,
Then this person will be found and unmasked.
