Fairytale

U treated me with tremendously  
With love & kindness  
Complimented me many times  
Trapped in with struggle & despair  
Never have I embraced a relationship so strongly
Many adore U  
 
But it is hard to evaluate our connection  
U were all in my imagination  
My desires & my inner joy  
Years never passed without thoughts of U  
Reality soon set in  
And all the images became distorted  
 
I never earned your love  
And definitely not your respect  
Yet, I held on for nothing  
Only for your twisted amusement  
Everyone adores us so much  
Except U because of your resentment  
 
The coldness in your touch  
The distance in your voice  
Now I remain trapped  
In my own mental purgatory  
Damaged goods to the world  
Especially those who might take interest  
 
Never to trust in the words  
Of those close relations  
Rebuke those with the intentions  
Of love,affection & life  
Believe in nothing  
That seems genuine from the heart  
 
Anger obvious throughout my soul  
And discontent in my veins  
Confined to a life  
That longer benefits my happiness
