PLEASE...

I see black waterfalls
Falling
I am there
A dream and then a synapse
Faint humming, whirring
I am there
Falling

A life-span before me, I can stretch
Cut…

Cut the strand?

No…
This is not a wish of mine
Tell me otherwise
And weigh my eyes

A spectrum, there are colours I can see
And colours I can’t see
I lack the fourth cone

I lack the imagination

That whirring again
Always humming behind my black eyelids
When can I see them?
In my dream or otherwise
But I am standing
Still…
In the rain
And there are no birds here
And the sky is black
And the heart is black
And the ground is black
And I am
Black…

Again, the humming
Am I?
Dying?
I can’t breathe
The black waterfall
Glistening past my eyelids
Behind my eyelids
But I still see them
Smiling, laughing
I want to be there
Please…

Don’t let me…
