"Si(g)ns Bearing Witness"

"In dark desperate times men
seek to the Higher Deities of
  their consciences or to the
  daemons that rip and shred
  their tormented infernal
  souls, for something to
  console"

The state of your mind will
be the demise of all that we
have worked for

And the signs of the times
declare that the ending will
not tarry much longer...

No, it will not withhold the
consequences that are to
surely come

Deteriorating... coming apart
from the inside; the upper
hemisphere of my mind and
my chains that burn inside
conflict as they chide

Now all of my internal pertinent
parts are becoming autonomous,
and I'm losing control of my
eternal soul

Oh, it feels so good to be wanted,
by all of these beings that haunt
and so desperately want me

If I feel any more less than morose
and full of detest, still I'll stand in
my sin irregardless

Because the man of sin, he ascends,
comes to the forefront and just won't
fucking relent

Just try to consume me with the rod
of your mouth, but in time I'll still wyrm
my fucking way out

And although I've tried other ways, he
still wins and laughs in my face until I'll
scorn...

But with him I walk alone; and I don't
balk from what we've become

Because...

It feels so good to be wanted,
by all of these beings that haunt
and so desperately want me

If I feel any more less than morose
and full of detest, still I'll stand in
my sin irregardless
