He spoke in clarity  
about sailing onwards
alone
single handedly
telling me
I didn't need him so much
 
And right he'd be
maybe

spoken truth
loud enough to reawaken
tired souls
losing their way
maybe

I do still need him
with all my breath I take in
 
Reinvigorating my love
determined to one day
speak with a clarity in

be kept safe beautifully
