Far Gone Girl

Scattered and broken the
miscreant melodies went unchosen
rapt and resonating with replication
in a symphony of dour deterioration
a soul unharbored was crushed to dust
demolished by a wrecking ball of mistrust
like metal framework exposed to damp air
her convictions succumbed without a care
she had forgotten her way for just too long
wandering in a junkyard her context was wrong
she had needed to be placed on a higher loft
but never recieved the chance to be so soft
with hardness she repelled all conjectures
yet was never enabled to wear reflectors
instead she held on to the handlebars of time
repeating notions that followed no rhyme
porous unhumored she absorbed the trials
even in sustaining the unmetered miles
they became a pretext to a final result
that wavered in breezes of torrid tumult
hovering along refuse in corpulent rejection
her angry dregs were pedaled by infection
her mind was an open field of reception
that had accepted far too many inflections
riding on her nature that had been so intrinsic
she coasted along on breezes of mimic
among a minefield of sharpened awareness
following virtues of which she could care less
her wheels once flattened in desication
the despot of which was desecration
disunited under a derelict divergence
only to elucidate her frank emergence
how many times had love escaped her
and only in waiting had time effaced her
razed by carriages pulled by a team that
only followed along an unsubstative lean
their misconceptions leaving an oily sheen
that covered her only long-range dreams
of rising above her haphazard mien so
low-born in concept and bereft of esteem....
