About the Eggs....
I saw a chicken lying by the road yesterday
at the end of the drive of the convenient store...
what on earth she needed from the convenient store
as she was being struck by death then cast aside,
I couldn't imagine, but then again, I came home empty handed...

I'm sorry for the hen. Or for perhaps even writing this about the hen. I hate seeing any dead animal on the road or anywhere else. It was odd that a farm chicken was right there in the middle of town and I've never forgotten it. Maybe it fell off a truck or something on the way to the chicken pen. :( I'm really sorry for it though.

Isn't it odd? I almost ran over a squirrel and than a woolley caterpillar today ... maybe she knew where her eggs had gone? There is no such thing as coincidence or as they keep telling us in the "scientific method" correlation does not even imply causality...

Re: Re. About the Eggs....
Cars and animals together like that are a recurring theme in my life. But then again I've always lived in the country and so things don't fare so well that creep on roads. I hate with a passion to run over snakes because I think that it will get tangled in my axle and then slither its way up through my ash tray and want to take over the wheel. (at which time I would let it) I heard that story once and I have no idea if its an urban legend or not, but I certainty take no chances with snakes hitching rides on axles. Me and my cat-like reflexes will absolutely go in the ditch when it comes to snake crossings. That just happened a few days ago....again. :)
The philosophy of reason, I love it! sometimes that is... I've examined and studied it just a little bit. I think that some actions are and some actions are not coincidental....or non action. Could there be a reason for something that doesn't exist? Besides the fact that we haven't thought of thinking of it yet? Such a mind twister but philosophy I love and hate it. But there are deterministic reasons for everything that exists except that sometimes a reason for one thing looks like a reason for something else. It gets confusing but I see cause and effect and time and distance. We are going to have to have a wonderful conversation about coincidences... we should plan it. :) thank you, Maenad..

Yes! I'm looking forward to that conversation about coincidences if you are still up for it?♡ Life is all about the signal... I am returning again and again to this idea. That each of our unique signatures attracts specific 'replies' so to speak. Therefore there is no such thing as coincidence and everything truly happens at the right time. Or when your signal is correctly attuned for that particular attraction... I think you would need to be in a very particular state to attract a snake that then decided to get into your car via your ash tray. May you and I never be in that state! ♡
