Image for the poem Houri

Houri

She was born in Paradise
Schooled to serve and delight
Instructed to please and never refuse
The advances of martyrs, men and fools

She attains a position as Houri
Submissive to all arrivals
Each one a Master in this realm
They anoint her with scented oils
And bear her to a hero's arms
She acknowledges his Mastery
Domination, not damnation
An eternity in his service
An infinity of his ecstasy...

She lowers slowly to her knees
And tastes of his divinity
Swallowing the endless seed
The sweetness that she's deemed to need.
