THE CRAWLING CHAOS

From the chasm of the earth
I arose with vengeance
The man you see in your darkest nightmares
Who walks among you
With human stride
And none would ever know
What horrors I hide
What chaotic tunes that hum in the shadows
You feel an aura of madness
Almost suffocating in it's placidity
Heed this word, for warnings exist not
Among you, among all, I walk
Across all shores, all boundaries denied
Free to plague your thoughts with mine
Subconscious threat from near or far
Immortal one, with emanating fear
With hollow heart, with tainted step
With roots and branches, above and below
But neither here nor there, high nor low
With wrath in my face, yet faceless
With unspoken tongue
Ancient word from Tartarus
Succumb to I, and be at peace
As I laugh among the masses that breathe stale air
That yearn for release, and beg to be
I, the god that gods know not of
The god imprisoned to eternal walk
Existing in non-existence
As mortals drink from the cup of heresy
I, the seething mist
The black wind
The dweller in darkness
Look into my hidden eye
Become me, becoming you
As you writhe in spasmodic lamentation
