CARRIED AWAY

It was hard to forget
But not for you I bet
The water glass reflects
Moonlight I cannot detect

It shouldn't be so bad
When Winter's in my hand
The sky is caving in
Where my heart has always been

The rain came
And carried it away
The remains
Carried away

I'm looking pale today
The hurt won't go away
How could I try to mend
What would kill me in the end

Evenings are getting dull
My lids the sorrow pull
Your words had formed a gun
A cloud to wash away the sun

The rain came
And carried it away
The remains
Carried away
