Seriously, karma?
do you have to fuck
me in all sorts of ways
there are more girls
to fuck with you know
i had my share i'm done
i know i'm an unusual girl
with my chameleon soul
and complicated mind
just a misfit in this world
made a mess of my life
blew it several times
And so what???
Tell me, bitch
is that the cause
my previous lives?
if so i fucked up badly
three years down the line
and still i'm challenged
by disaster and loss
you took all i ever had
nothing left to lose
because of what?
am i that bad?
Tell me, karma?
because to me this
whole charade called
life doesn't make sense
...anymore...

Re. Karmasutra
Duende, I know this feeling all too well. People continuously say "It's gonna get better." But they don't understand how down you really are or how often life kicks you in the ass. Great way to express your frustration love. 💋

Thank you so much for your comment and kind words, Lyrical!
Glad to hear it resonates with you and I know that "It's gonna get better" all too well! Yeah right! Thank you also for calling this a great write, that means a lot to me :-)

Re. Karmasutra
I'd direct karma's footsteps to the nearest bridge and tell her to jump the fuck off. I'd take deep breaths, chant a few woosah or two, take me a long nice hot bath and chug back a few shots of cognac. Then I'd find the quietest space in my house and chat with my God. (but that's just me) Every single one of us have been pieces of this ink, Duende. There are times when we all bend but never break. :) I definitely understand your anger, and your pain.

Thank you so much dear Rain, for your heartwarming words, the comfort and the compassion!
You are right... we bend and don't break, but there are times it's a big struggle to not break!
Finding piece in yourself (in whatever way works for you) is important, if only I had a bath ;-)
I really appreciate your comment and your understanding!

Very slick to title it as such to get the horn dogs to come snooping round lol... But without doubt the piece is anything but erotically enticing, n I honestly can say yup know the feelings well n wish I could just snap my fingers n make
it dissipate :)
it dissipate :)

You make me smile Poetik!
I didn't choose the title to lure people... I know the 'concept' for so long that I don't see it as erotic anymore!
Karmasutra: when fate fucks you in all sorts of ways!
Thank you for your heartwarming words!

Dev...
"bitching ink" perfectly put.
Okay lovely poetess here goes...
I was pleasently surprised when I landed here that this piece was not porn... The title is beautifully suggestive so when as a reader I realised I was dealing with intellect it was a gush of fresh air...
That picture compliments this write perfectly.
I'm unsure of the over grammatical use of the question mark on So What???
I think it steals some of the style from you unfairly.
I liked the question style... Packed closely together like that cause a melancholy of emotional outburst that makes the reader feel her and comprehend her pain.
I felt that overall this was a cleverly done freestyle poem that discussed a topic that has been done to death from a fresh and real perspective... You know what I mean, it most certainly is not the cliche'd "karma will get you for that"... Well done! Thank you for the read.

Dear Al, where to start...
First of all... thank you so much for your comment! It means a lot to me that you could feel and comprehend my pain and that you said it is written from a fresh and real perspective!
Second... I really appreciate your feedback on the So what??? part!
This poem has gone through a tremendous amount of edits and at one point it is hard to look at your poem objectively!
I fully agree with you that it could lose two question marks, but the problem is: when I edit a poem that has a letter type a [/font] appears at the end (after the edit) and then the perfectionist in me gets pissed off ;-)
I have to find the Webmistress to ask what's going on...

......you are not alone https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAyKJAtDNCw
and probably only the chorus may apply but all of us deal with the infamous apparition, Karma. And we will never get the gist of the why and the how. Karma just is. Lest we give Karma too much credit. Life is but a river and it ebbs and tides. Continually meandering along never to end. Simply ride out the storms and seek the sun. I like the stance of this poem........the strength that builds quietly with each line. The key is to simply "keep breathing" (Tom Hanks in "Castaways") We shall all survive and be the better for it. Yes, please just tell Karma to "fuck off" indeed
a great poem 😏

Great to hear you think the strength builds quietly with each line :-)

Ohhhhh Duende, as the other stated above me, this ink can speak for many of us, including myself and I suppose once we find the strength within us (loving all of ourselves) I believe Karma doesn't have a fighting chance...stay strong, love yourself and allow yourself moments of weakness, it's in those moments that the fighter within us becomes even stronger...
Much love to you

This is a really universal piece, because we all get pissed off at life, fate, karma, whatever you want to call it. And it's tough to feel like you'll never be anything but a nail when you just keep getting hammered. You've expressed the fury and frustration well.

I'm glad to hear you think I expressed my frustration well :-)
"to feel like you'll never be anything but a nail" > never heard of this expression, but damn... that is spot on!!!
