Cowards

Why is it
that there are
young men
who
have no wish to learn
anything
why is it
when you ask
those same young men
are you proud
to be
from the country
that you are from
are you
patriotic
they all say yes
they are proud
to be
from a country
where their people
desperately need them
yet
they ran away
why is it
they continue to live
by some of the laws
of their country
yet
they do not live there
anymore
how can it be
they want the country
that they live in
to change
for them
yet they refuse to help
their own country
that is sinking
and like rats
they leave
looking
for a easy life
to live
