My alter ego

 
The poet is the lair, the lyre,
the storyteller  
a fool for the fool of words .    

I was the poet looking for the mind
to emerge into writing.  In reality I don't
have an ego to speak of, and so writing
became my alter ego...

My alter ego, the writer;
that trusted friend that I found in myself
where I came from so long ago.
