IN THE BREEZE

You were the life brought back to the dead
You were flitting off like a ghost in the breeze
You resembled the grace of a pirouette
Tell me how this has become

It's you who can see me
Wandering above the clouds
It's you who can hear me
From afar and aloud
Screaming name with reaching wing
The way is quite far from clear
It's warmth you are seeking
Not the cold that was so dear

You are a ghost in the breeze

I will not give pardon to
The cruelness in your ways
But I wouldn't judge you
If you wanted to stay
I won't recover
From the length of the days
Apart from my lover
Alone in decay
