History of a rain drop

 
Each drop of water does contain
So many molecules it addles your brain.
Each molecule has its own history
Exactly what will, stay a mystery
From the beginning of time some were formed
So many functions they have performed.
Much of their time may have been spent
From sea to clouds, then a  rainy decent
Flowed in a river back to the ocean
Round and round in perpetual motion.
Occasionally this cycle is forsaken
Some contribute to a creatures making
Were any  part of a dinasaurs blood?
Or Noah's body at the time of the flood?.
Much of our body contains water
Passing through us as if w're a blotter.
Which molecules are organic and which rain
Are randomly determined in the main
