CARRION

Carrion, life had gone
For vultures to feast upon
Beasts of rotting flesh
Tearing at the mesh
Weeks had devoured
All fragments had scoured
Soured, flower of meth
Death, it's attestant
Caressed it, blessed
Detested the earth
Marrow leaks it's mirth
The ground reeks of birth
Around shadows inert
Profound with drowned
Archaic roots beneath
Archetypal legacy
Of nigh entitled leprosy
This vine of tethered ivy
Anchored to a hollow tree
Enriched the fields
And ditched all yields
Gathering of opaqueness
The cleansing deliverance
Harvest of the sun
Carrion, death was done
As vultures, we feast upon
