"Our Reflections Show in their Times, (the Duality of Consciousness)."

These burdens that I carry, (the
weights of memories gone by),
and these claw marks in my
chest, (the inscriptions of
pains that'll never be laid
to rest)

Occasionally I find some balm
that soothes them, but never
will there be an eternal pillow
for their head

All things that go around come
back around again, once
they've been set into
motion they have
their set seasons

This, we can't negate or beset;
it's beyond our reason

So, for this treason I petitioned
the Haelvens for some decree
that was a little less severe

A God and a Daemon was there...
it looked at me with a distinct
visage that spoke wryly albeit
concise, splitting into like an
atom my spirit from my mind
so that I could see it clearly
without blindness of
impartiality

I Fucking swear, the image cast
back and reflected... was, Me

So, I reasoned that this body is
the cocoon and the tomb into
which we've been sewn

When we seek out unto Higher
Beings, we are only Searching
within ourselves for that next
level, the next evolutionary
table

But, as we ascend into the realm
of the consciousness of mind,
realize that the reflection we
see cast is ours, thine own,
both Daemon and Divine
