FORMAM LUCINA

Engorged dangling breasts
fertile belly grazes chest
dipped in creation
beneath supple skin,
in places darker than night
a little light swells
Bud to blossom grows
sharing loving sustenance
eternal tether
burgeoning shadow
with an umbilical noose
tight around my heart
Succulent lips smile
hands glide on pale crystal ball
burgeoning future

Thank you Howlings! I love in the Spanish language where childbirth is written as "dar luz" to give light. These are our musings, Katja and I on that miracle. I appreciate your words of encouragement.
