Delayed Departures

.
And you would think it to be just so,
the rejoicing at nights returning you
to my kissing embrace

You would think the mornings arrival
to be one of sorrowful departures

But I'm guilty of never letting you go
there's room for you in my head,
I doubt you'd find that surprising.
