You do so much to help me,
But that's not what I need.
Your gifts are so beautiful,
For one whom it's unusable.
Don't get me wrong, they're all nice deeds,
Just not what my heartstrings need.
I need to feel your passion for me.
I need to know you'll sacrifice for me.
The risk of losing me should be more
Than the chance your ego will be thrown to the floor.
I'm so sorry I already hurt you there, I didn't realize;

I just felt that it was no use.

Love lacking when I take some liberty.
