Devour
O there it is behind me still,
it makes my eyes roll back until
I can't deny it isn't there
enticing me back to its lair.
The darkness of myself is to
consume me and my love for you
where just below the surface soiled
a serpent deviant is coiled.
Its glaring with unblinking eyes,
insinuates to hypnotize.
I can’t fight it, neither can you
what beast in us is made to do.
To dominate and mate with me
and drain the blood of life and be
fulfilled and writhe in ecstasy,
my body, palest cold for thee.
Before the darkness closes in
your lust devours while I grin.
Until the next time it repeats
When only in my dreams we meet.

Sinister but very much a turn on. You might have received a visit from an incubus passing himself off as a dream. Very well written, fun to read with the deft rhythm and rhyme scheme. Good luck with the contest Jade!
