for the kingdom I once knew.

I liked the assertion of being in the middle of nowhere, but maybe reduce the abstraction n one can see the true state of your nostalgia

Thanks TM.The poem is actually about the destruction of a great kingdom of which the author was a key part.I was trying to drive that aspect home rather than the listlessness of being in an abstract nowhere.Unfortunately,triolets force the author to tell the whole story in just 8 lines,unless one is skilled in the art of double/triple triolets(which I'm not...yet).Thanks again!
