You Say

You say that looks don't matter;
    But I know to court you, I could never.

You say to not be ashamed of my body;
    Yet I see you dating men who aren't homely.

You say I have a good heart;
    But your friends look at me, and then depart!

You come over and try to converse me;
    Yet I hear with your friends, you mock me.

You say that it's what's inside;
    But your friends say, if they were me, they'd commit suicide.

You say that you'll let me hang with you -
    But your friends say I'll cramp your style, and then say 'Eww!'

Could she be just leading him on?  Hmmm....
