It's love
that leads you to a place
of broken promises
failed hopes
that feel so good
because it shouldn't
it's love
So now you have everything you ever dreamed of
but nothing you've ever wanted
it's love
that all the poetry , books ,movies speak of
never believe the lines of liars
It's love
that's never lonely
But in the eye of a mother who's lost her child you see the truth
it's love
that'll make everything wrong when everything was finally right
it's love
You should blame
it's love
you should run away from
it's love
the only thing anyone looks for
it's love
and it'll kill you

Oh m'dear... love should never take you to all those places. True love, should never lead you to pain and sufferance. If anything, it should liberate you from such bindings, and misconceptions.
Unfortunately, many of us don't always take our time to measure the intent of another when we wear our hearts on our sleeves. A life lesson, for many. You depict that aptly in your write !
