Hullo
I think Beckett took James Joyce's 'stream of consciousness' thing up a level with his "not I " production in 72' both poets were kinda ground breaking with their respective writes, more so Joyce since his Ulysses was most likely the inspiration for Beckett's not I. anyhow, I figured I'd try one ..a short one
I was hoping the poem would read ok and be enjoyed on its own with no explanation of what it means, since Beckett never explained what his poems meant, I'll keep the meaning to my self and the one person who needs no explanation
thanks much bunches for dropping by, good Lady and for dropping your thoughts

Well, Craic, a little out of your comfort zones, but hell I liked it!. . .I enjoyed the flow, as well as the bravado, and sometimes it's good to take a plunge into someone else's abyss while making it your own. Excellent ink;). . .~Devlin.

totally agree with the whole plunge thing. kinda getting lazy on those things , very much enjoyed exploring new forms and such in the past. gonna try to some more in the future
I think the flow helps a lot to create a real-time thought chain, so I'm happy that's standing up
thanks heaps for dropping by, dear lady. and for laying down your thoughts

very nice to see you too. words: the Bee g's wrote a song about words, and they used a lot of words to write it, which I thought was a remarkable tribute to the things.

I love the chances you take and the rules you break of "traditional" poetry, Eamonn. I suspect it may have been liberating, shedding the clothes of formality to brave the waters of this beautiful and deep lake !

it's good to take a chance or two now n' again, Tony. this was handy enough to write, clicking submit button sans-edit was the tricky bit ...but then I wished I'd kept at it and written a longer one
anyhow, cheers man. good to see you around

Hullo, thankS
I think sometimes its about luck: to have the words placed in a way which creates other veins of narration, other times it entails a lot of thinking and re thinking. the former world for me most times
thanks for dropping by, Lady

The explanation you provided to Crimsin would make a nice intro to this piece, but either way I liked the evocative surreality of it. Thanks for the read. - Jack xxx

Hey hey Mr Eamon
Absolutely surprised I didn't fall on this piece before.. Samuel Beckett was a bloody genius and delving into his stuff aint no easy task, you seem to have given it justice here, well done. Hat tip at you.
The reference to Elphantile at the end had me perplexed, I understood that to be a island?
Blue Skies at you

Hulloha
..my estimations say you fell on this piece some weeks ago when you stuck it on yo reading list :D ( thanks much for that ). I watch some short documentaries on YouTube from The school of life philosophies. ..or some words to that effect, 'bout seven mins long tops. from philosophers to poets to generals etc. anyhow I wastched one on both Beckett and Joyce: both very informative ...would totally recommend the Chantal if I knew the exact name of it
anyhow that's the craic behind the idea, and you're thanked lots for dropping by and leaving your thoughts

Hello lepperochan, luv ~
I'm rather fascinated by this piece. It teases at my brain at various moments unexpected. I come back on occasion to read again, but then I tend to do that with your creations.
Tis rather a gorgeously discomfittingly comforting thing, luv... :-*

Hullo, dear lady. good to see you knocking about

I get really lucky sometimes. good or bad ( I've written a million shit poems ) some people can get me.
it surprises me when people like yourself and others tend to figure stuff out. sometimes its uncanny
thanks bunches, Missus

The audio on this is superb, and I'm very happy to have stumbled across it. I really love the way that this poem is formatted. The line breaks really help the flow of this. I thought the lack of grammar would hinder this, but it doesn't at all, and the audio just proves this.
Intriguing stuff here.

Hullo
ahh, the audio is fantastic. line-breaks seemed like the only way to inject some tiny bit of order. agree with you on their workload.
I think grammar may be post-initial thought [ in that we probaly don't 'think' gramatically correct] so it may be counter productive to use grammar in the articulence of them [ sometimes ]
though I could also be way off ( odd as that may sound )
many thanks to you for dropping by to pay down your thoughts. and also for uploading the audio in my hour of tecniacl ineptness

three weeks before the deadine too. I was genuinely thrilled when you agreed to take it on
looked forward to hearing how you interpreted the narrative, and was not disappointed
many thanks for the time and effort it must a taken
