Pretender
I'll stop pretending things are fine
when you stop pretending life is fair.
I'll stop pretending I'm ok when you stop pretending you care. I'll stop pretending to change when you stop pretending you did. I'll stop pretending I'm in control if you stop pretending to not being in your head. I'll stop pretending to be unaffected if you stop pretending that you are. I stop pretending you're not close when you stop pretending you don't stand afar. I stop pretending to be a mentor if you stop pretending you're actually listening. I'll stop pretending all together if only you truly stop pretending you paying attention.

Sometimes it's hard to tell when someone is pretending until they stop and then you see them for what they truly are, a pretender. Lovely detail in this poem I enjoyed reading
