But Ya'll Don't hear Us!
400 years we kept silent.
Heads bowed, knees bent we kept quiet.
Never truly obedient we still kept the peace, however you remained violent.
Oppression at its finest, but yet you want other countries to believe that on we are all equal but black people are just defiant.
Listen they aren’t buying it, you tried it.
Keep killing us senselessly, and what us riot.
Trying to remain peaceful is like the cow that jumped over the moon, Fairytale.
But ya’ll do things like mass incarceration, hey post bail.
But ya’ll don’t hear us tho!
Cry and scream as we must but our voices are silence by those in the black and blue.
Just because you wear a badge doesn’t me I am less than you.
Why must I be judge by the color of my skin…. Does it really offend you?
I try to find reason to believe that in 2016 this can’t be true.
Trying to remain peaceful is like the crop circles created by aliens, fiction.
But ya’ll doing shit like hanging black men in parks, yea we call that lynching.
But ya’ll don’t hear us tho!
When is enough going to be enough.
Truth be told without them guns and that badge ya’ll ain’t so tough.
We shout and chant black lives matter, but you retort and comeback All lives matter.
Yes this is true.
But at this moment, its blacks who are being executed, on the verge of being extinct
Trying to remain peaceful is like pressing mute on the remote, easy.
But ya’ll doing shit like sitting back and watching, saying nothing, easy.
But ya’ll don’t hear us tho!
So we fight back, with gats and glocks.
Some of us sit back and watch the clock.
Time is only winding down.
The last thing I want to hear is that alarm sound.
Civil war and Martial law are our impending doom.
Sadly, I must confuse this isn’t anything new.
But trying to remain peaceful is like watching someone be brutally beaten, heartbreaking.
Especially when ya’ll out here killing people for no rhyme or reason, genocide.
BUT YA’LL DON’T HEAR US THO!
So let me say this and hear me well… YA’LL GOT US FUCKED UP!
Continue to think that we are less than you, when truth be told the numbers speak the truth we out number you.
NO sense in running to the VOTING BOOTHS.

Nah see, watch as we do the one thing ya’ll have feared
Watch as we unite and stand firm something we should have done for years.
Shoot another black man down, and watch another rise.
Rip another black woman apart, and watch another give birth.
To a revolution you never seen coming.
