Heard him talk about the films seen
past and present
Imagining him scrolling through
memory banks

Lazy days to spend watching films
on the couch, with him talking through
synopsis on certain films;
And I'd bob in approval, till he'd go quiet
mid-sentence as I felt the rush of
his uncontrolled shake and sigh
before he carried on talking.

Sitting back up after tucking the
memory away marked 'for solo use only'

Curling into him
listening to his voice smooth talking
about movies as I drifted away.
