My existence just beyond the light
Is contaminated by enemies
Armed with liquid guts and forked tongues
Never content just to watch me bleed

My old friend, Failure, is right over the horizon
One single step to fall into obscurity
Soulless eyes, steadily, staring from bleak prisms
Their so called righteousness tainted by their obscenity

But at your end of days I will stand firm
As I watch your collapse that slowly burns
I seek not redemption but pure vengeance
Behold your world of pain, this is your penance

At death�s door I will defy the odds
Heart laid bare on altars of sacrifice
Lacerations tattoo my flesh
A road map to hate, roll of the dice

The carrion descend with jagged beaks, murderous
Gnashing teeth biting with barbarity
I am beating a dead horse to death, thunderous
And say �Fuck you and your beliefs� with all sincerity

Corner me in the shadows
To try to take a piece of me
