Protection

Given his conscientiousness, he’ll need
To love and to protect her from the world;
This loving feeds a sense that may well seed
A mutual trust that means her heart’s unfurled;
And he has flagged her banner to his mast,
He’s spread her colours, pressed against a bench;
He licks her slowly, wanting it to last
And holds her legs apart – she will not clench
Her limbs around his head, unless he lets
Her move more freely than a man might wish
When he is tasting her and really gets
A thrill from his repast – a lovely dish
That she will serve with love as he projects
His conscious mind and consciously protects.
