HOLI
(a villanelle... of sorts...)
an unheard voice suspends
in dreams of willows’ pass
her red cicada moon
our holi star prehends
in echoes purple glass
an unheard voice suspends
warm silken guaze cocoon
in melon powders cast
her red cicada moon
with salmon blushing ends
cool breezes bending grass
an unheard voice suspends
in constellations swoon
another rosey bask
her red cicada moon
rise voice and ‘earing’s blend
with morning sassafras
an unheard voice suspends
her red cicada moon
an unheard voice suspends
in dreams of willows’ pass
her red cicada moon
our holi star prehends
in echoes purple glass
an unheard voice suspends
warm silken guaze cocoon
