Cliche

Aha!
She's back from the dead!
But beware,
All hell might break loose.
(But doesn't absence make the heart grow fonder?)

Read the poems of this basket case, friend.
It will be epic -
With words, rhymes, romance,
And all that jazz.

All the bits and pieces, guts out,
Skeletons in the closet out for public viewing.

A peek at her dark and stormy nights.
The songs of a bleeding heart,
Honest as the day is long.
Teenage dream -
As horny as a three balled tomcat,
Free as a bird.
Sometimes,
I guess.

We can dance the night away
By the light of the moon
Because
I’m...just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her.*

I'm kidding,
Of course.

Ah, to be young and foolish...
I am.

This is my labor of love,
Enjoy the ride.
