Familiar faces,
Competing in the same race,
Running from the start
to the finish with no winner,
pushing, shoving, tripping, and cheating,
Forgetting love
& losing ourselves
teaching hate,
who is to blame
for what we became?
a world so rotten
it seems being true
is a principle completely forgotten
