Choking Angel

How long must you suffer in fear?
Time is ticking by,as you wait for your day to die
You wish it was sooner,but it feels like eternity.
You have been good for so long
and your tired of anyone doing you wrong.

Choking angel lost
with a broken halo,
How long must you suffocate?
Gasping for air as you're coiled
by the snake that haunts you.

Bloodshot eyes
and a rage fueled by fire.
Broken wings and suffering,
not getting what her heart desires.

She look toward the sky for an answer,
she asks, "why is this burden cast upon me?".
"Why me?"
