Daemons slumber within the shadows
In dreams they whisper secrets of below
What cruelty awaits for the condemned
But dreadful pennies from whence we lament?
Guillotines and libertines
Speak in tongues, serpentine
Doomsayers come to deliver the gloom
For labyrinths seduce in secret moons
Must I be a slave to the dark, insane
As I glimpse eternity from the grave?
