The March Of The Uniforms
You’ve seen the evil that men can do
I see the terror that lives in you
The days of the past will always come and prey
On you in your sleep at the end of the day
And you cry out in the night
Your eyes dance within your head
Your fists will curl as you get ready to fight
When you see the killers and all their dead
You wake up in a sweat the past is killing you
Your nighttime visions and what they do
You’ve seen the terror in the victim’s eyes
And it will haunt you until the day you die
Slashing color in the night always soaked in red
Screaming so loud it echoes in your head
People praying that they were dead
The joy of life turned into fear and dread
You’ve seen the evil that men will do
You’ve seen the the march of killers in their uniforms
Children not safe and neither are you
You’ve lived that evil and you will forever more
Flashing color in the night always dripping red
Screaming so loud it echoes in your head
Neighbors praying that they were dead
And then they were gone but alive in your head
