At the Opera, beware the Pantoum!
Uno momento, right in front of you!
Just moments later, vanished from the room!
What's a newbie poet supposed to do?
Beware the Pantoum of the Opera!
who dropped a chandelier on my sonnet
as I was climaxing to my volta
---motherfucker loosed right upon it!
Pantoum! Pantoum! Creeping forth from shadow .....
Now spotlighted, photo bombing the stage!
Tearing off his mask --- it's someone we know?!?!?
Deformed! Hideous!! Johnny Blaze!!! What rage!!!!
We shall suffer not this evildoer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Banish him back to labyrinth sewer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pantoum: Malay verse form consisting of an indefinite number of quatrains with the second and fourth lines of each quatrain repeated as the first and third lines of the following one. . This poem doesn't follow that def, but it's still very entertaining. Johnny rules... :D :P
