This savage beast inside me
is quite civilized. See,
I have these cravings of you
being psychoanalyzed and fileted;
your insecurities laid out on the table
displayed as I feast upon notions
how you came to be who you are
how you were made
how it will taste when
I take you at your word
then break you apart word by word
into a scrumptious alphabet soup
before gluing your wordiness back together
presenting you as who you really are
underneath the pretentious snot
bubbling forth from your nose
and
hanging the end result on my refrigerator door
like macaroni art
