Under The Strawberry Moon
In the air of a cold summer night we were joined together as one.
Picture us night swimming,
The strawberry moon reflects upon the water.
Our bodies bare and wet.
We played like kids again as we splished and splashed around then coming together to sneak a passionate kiss after making a wish on Orion's Belt.
Tonight I will meet you under the strawberry moon,
Tonight I will kiss you until the morning sun,
Tonight I will love you past the dawn all through dusk,
Tonight I will be here under the strawberry moon waiting for you.
Tonight I will meet you under the strawberry moon,
Tonight I will kiss you until the morning sun,
Tonight I will love you past the dawn all through dusk,
Tonight I will be here under the strawberry moon waiting for you.
Taking a stroll hand in hand as I had on your favorite jacket.
It smelt so good I didn't want to ever take it off.
You twirled me around like I was your princess and your were my prince,
With a smile so genuine and eyes that twinkled brighter than the stars you got me feeling something so rare.
With butterflies all tied up inside, I am so scared to say those three little words without the fear of losing you in a whisk of the wind.

Gazing at the night sky in awe of the beauty in the night.

I want to stay like this forever with you.
Feeling your body against me while feeling you give me light kisses on my head as you say this was the best night of your life.
As a comet blazes across the sky I tell you to make a wish, but you turn me and say you have everything here.

Amber colors in shades of pink, orange, and purple appear in the sky.
Night becomes day as we lay there peaceful yet so innocently.
Waking up grinning as we felt the satisfaction of sharing something bigger than intimacy.

We found a love that's hardly ever true.

It's been quite awhile since I've wrote something even semi-positve about love so lately I've been reflecting on myself along with being busy with current things going on in my life and as of result it made me want to write about love again.
Also I have to give some credit to the Strawberry Moon we had last night that inspired me to write about having a romantic evening with the one you love under the Strawberry Moon.

It was a brilliant return to romance. I'm in that stage of the cycle too. Nothing has gone right.
But every now and then, even when I have my greatest disappointments, the longing for love shines through and I write a beautiful poem of the life I hope to feel.
But it hasn't happened to me in a long while. Your story and mine, I like the vibe we share. Even though I force every image of everyone I ever loved from my mind to keep from cursing circumstance, I still have a taste for romance in my tongue. I still crave it with a sweet tooth.
You have given me chocolate and spoiled my dinner Rocky ☺. But the chocolate was better than any plain undercooked, cold tv dinner could ever have been.

This is impressive writing with a good title. Good interpretations of images and feelings too.
