Image for the poem my beautiful Goddess of the fairies

my beautiful Goddess of the fairies

deep in the forested Red Woods
lush with ferns and mossy beds

little mushrooms sprout here and there
waterfalls cascade into azure pools

here the fairies play
my lovely one and I are there

swimming in the magical healing waters
balm to our spirits and souls

a sacred place
where no evil can dwell

she a Goddess adorned in nature's finest
sunflower skirt and poppy top

dark haired beauty captivates me
with blackberry flavor

upon tangerine lips
gentle as a breeze is her kiss

gazing at her with sunshine in my eyes
I see her pain and bid the fay creatures to tend her wounds

with a heady elixir from roots and tree bark
drinking the potion she sees a vision

of a far away place
knowing now she is on a great quest

the guardian's of this kingdom
have set her on the path to her freedom

her heart in chains
a mighty warrior has the key to her release

many beasts are on the road
seeking to devour my Goddess

her hero wields a magic sword
slaying all in her path

they are on a fated collision course
with one another

love has seen to this
my beautiful one now journeying

the forests and our kiss
forever on her mind and lips

opens her eyes as from a deep sleep
bids me farewell

a small tear gracing her cheek
I inhale her smelling of summertime

saying i'll see you in my dreams
