Book of Souls
We are much like books. Our behaviour & attitude toward others presents as the front cover. Our bodies, for all that they are rest as the many pages & the scars upon us both physical & psychological are the words that recount our story. But only those with the fortitude to look past the cover & the courage to read everything from beginning to end with an open mind shall be rewarded with understanding; to be able to look upon the true soul that hides deep within the very heart of each & every book. Once that happens a new chapter can begin for all.

Thank you, I did deliberate the category I must admit. I was hoping it would be uplifting in its message but the tone probably gives it a more sedate quality. Thanks for the feedback for sure 😊

I love this. I have often thought the very same thing. To actually have someone read from cover to cover, getting into the depths of one's heart and soul. It is actually so very rare. Most will review the cover, and perhaps the first few pages, which seem so very appealing....as the layers begin to shed, it can become quite messy. The book then, is often closed and placed back upon the shelf.

Absolutely, it's only by reading on with the intent of actually trying to understand the real person (the good & the bad) that we can make a lasting connection.
