The Cloud
A chance meeting with a few choice words
Connects us
Exploring beyond the immediate relation
Infects us
But there is only a window that divides us
And it's an eternal space between that decides us
I'm not laying fault or pointing any blame
But I find our relationship here
Only reflects my physical life just the same
And so I will love you in my heart as you go
Reconciled with only that I know
You love me in return without ever touching my hand
It was not deemed possible for us to talk again

I could be wrong, but I take it this is about internet relationships, about which I have mixed feelings. A few are solid, but most dissipate very quickly. A familiar form of heartbreak that I'm still learning to bear, or deal with. Maybe I should be content with what relationships I can get. If it's on the internet, so be it, but there's still nothing like the real thing. Again, I might be mistaken with my take on this. My head's in the clouds. Excellent, thoughtful work DPW!

You would be correct, Crow. It is a remark, not so much that physical or internet is better, but rather they play themselves out in the same way. So, to me, it matters less about the medium in which you meet someone and more how you approach relationships.
