Six months into a year
Too many voices of stars we'll never hear
Taken too soon
Leaving us numb
And stunned in shock
Powerless to save legends
From the Lord above.
Why is He stealing
The ones we believe in?
In 2016
Heaven is overflowing with
Legends and stars
Please God, take no more
We need our idols to inspire us to dream
But once they make that final ascent
The power they hold upon a heart
Becomes bent and breaks apart

I was saying the same thing the other day, just before Kimbo. Kimbo was my friend, not really but literally, as in on facebook. I never met him or any of those celebrities. Still their death saddens me. I think it comes in a realization that death comes for us all, regardless of our accomplishments. It is a reminder that our time on this earth is limited and our chance to love fades with each second.

Few truer words are but r early spoken. I've never met any of the celebrities that have passed but the deaths of fighters hits a little closer to home.
