Safety
He doesn't make my heart race
I don't feel hot when I see his face
I slept beside him and kissed his lips
Touched him softly with my fingertips
I was safely bored in his arms
He worships me, all my charms
But could I love someone so... safe?
I can feel my soul already chafe
Have I loved the wrong ones so long?
There's no way I love the safely strong?
He held me in my bed, a perfect gentleman
Can I love a safe man? I hope I can
God, I hope I can
I don't feel hot when I see his face
I slept beside him and kissed his lips
Touched him softly with my fingertips
I was safely bored in his arms
He worships me, all my charms
But could I love someone so... safe?
I can feel my soul already chafe
Have I loved the wrong ones so long?
There's no way I love the safely strong?
He held me in my bed, a perfect gentleman
Can I love a safe man? I hope I can
God, I hope I can
