I got this mark on the wall
by the front door
discreetly placed
Insignificant from daily interaction
About where your eyes would be
pausing to let you check me over
with my knowing smile before departing.
And when alone my departure to be slow
when I reveal the colours of the day before
readjusting as quick as revealing and closing the door.
