Though his verse was typically light, it contained an underlying truth or message many missed. I can see the influence.

Aww, you are too kind. Nash was way too good to go writing any old trash... I can't speak for imitators though :)

With so many poets citing, 'feel my pain; guess what I'm thinking,' Ginsberg,' it's refreshing to find someone who's influenced by someone as uplifting as Nash.

Ha ha ha! If one barrel doesn't get them the other will... although more usually you get them right between the eyes anyway.
