Apple Of Life
I've bit into the apple of life
The sweetest memories that are so dear
will forever be cherished in my heart.
We've played happily, under the sun's golden rays
my senses come alive when in your presence
gleaming like a star in the night sky,
life is too precious
I'll never let you pass me by.

This is my opinion-
I ain't no poet; read the poem 3 times, felt beautiful and light-light on the head like a beautiful feeling on each occasion, leaves a smile when you finish reading the last line. As they say the more genuine the discovery, the more obvious it looks afterwards- if my partner wrote this for me, we'll already be puckering up! Feels genuine emotions are expressed. And that was my take-
