Peperisti in umbra
Detestor ego aurora

I burden myself with the weight of darkness
Found only within the grips of madness
Breathing the ashes and dust in these veins
Every step I take seems to leave a stain

Why hath the fairie tales
Been buried beneath the nails
When the coffin fodder hails
A triple threat vet where sirens wept
At her passing behind the veil?

Turbulent waters crash in a sea of tears
Manufacturing wraiths’ demented fears
Martyrs come to damn at haunted graveyards
Cowards at the back of fucking vanguards

Peperisti in umbra
Detestor ego aurora

I curse your blessed light
When the ravens take flight
A plague on the breeze
Spit forth from my tongue
At once from whence she greaves
On spiral steps
So cruel she leapt
Where seraphim names were flung

Obsidian and doom
Encrusted beneath the gloom
Love lies dormant in cocoons
The cenobite light in darkest night
My fateful tempest by the moon

Upon a time, I forgot to remember
My name remains tethered and dismembered
Jesus, god damn you, for leaving me here
Alone with embers of her passing , unfair

Stripped to these wasted bones
Haunted by tunes of her song
I’m feeling quartered and drawn
Her chrysalis spent on withered lips
Crumbles away before the dawn

Peperisti in umbra
Detestor ego aurora

I curse your blessed light
When the ravens take flight
A plague on the breeze
Spit forth from my tongue
At once from whence she greaves
On spiral steps
So cruel she leapt
Where seraphim names were flung

When mourning comes to hellbound hearts
Enthralled by books of blood
Midian waits at Heaven’s gates
When the Imajica writhes
She twists and turns but ever burns
On blacktop and hallways
She’s my thief of always

Peperisti in umbra
Detestor ego aurora

I curse your blessed light
When the ravens take flight
A plague on the breeze
Spit forth from my tongue
At once from whence she greaves
On spiral steps
So cruel she leapt
Where seraphim names were flung
