Good Chair.

He sat in the good chair,
With the good book in hand,
So righteous and holy,
So tremendously grand,
I sat down beside him,
With my knowledge in place,
Was ready and willing,
To start stating my case,
I brought up the notion,
Of Good verses evil,
That if God cared so much,
He'd save all his people,
Then the man of God smiled,
And I knew that he'd say'
If God killed all evil,
Half the world he would slay,
So what is the message,
that he's truly sending?
Gods balance and mercy
flows forth, never ending?
I disagree my good man,
And took his chair from him,
I'll strike down Gods mighty,
He won't forgive my sin,
There is no balance here,
No level playing field,
The message I'm sending,
Is that you'll truly yield,
For I am the Devil,
I sit in plain disguise,
Grand good man, book in hand,
I don't think your so wise,
I sit in the good chair,
With my heart in my hand,
Knowing I'm not holy,
Nor tremendous nor grand.
