"The Residents Beyond the Vail of the Five Senses!" Part 1

To say that this place didn't have an ominous,
atmospheric feel about it was an understatement,
to say the least

Upon arriving there, we could feel the heavy
presence of the prior residents unsettled
souls that still resided here

There was an awareness of disembodied
denizens who lingered either willingly, or
unwilling

I looked around - not necessarily with the
sensory of my eyes - and scoped-out the
area, looking for tell-tale signs... areas
of the room darker than others; cold
spots where no ventilation was

Sections that were open to sunlight but
still feeling cooler than should be
considering; inordinate odors

My inner senses were in an heightened
state of awareness and going fucking
wild

And, suddenly I ascertained that whatever
was still roaming these grounds was also
aware of my keen discernment
